Washington, D.C. – Congressman John Faso (R-Kinderhook), today received a letter from NYCDEP Deputy Commissioner Paul Rush in response to his inquiry about the preparedness of the Department to address reservoir levels prior to the possible arrival of the remnants of Hurricane Florence.  Congressman Faso sent his letter on Thursday, September 13th.

“I appreciate NYCDEP’s timely response and awareness of the importance of this issue as well as concerns local residents downstream from their reservoirs have in such events,” said Faso. “We must ensure these reservoirs are able to safely handle any heavy rain produced by the remnants of Hurricane Florence or another storm.”
