Washington, D.C. – Congressman John Faso (R-Kinderhook) issued the following statement on today’s continuing appropriations resolution to fund the federal government through May 5:
“With my support and on a bipartisan basis, the House passed a temporary continuing resolution to fund the government. It is expected that next week we will pass appropriations that will fund the government through the end of the fiscal year and prevent a government shutdown. I am continuing my Budget Committee work to address next year’s budget and the long-term fiscal deficits which imperil US financial stability in the future.”
