Washington, D.C. – Congressman John Faso (R-Kinderhook) issued the following statement on the Senate’s vote to confirm the nomination of Representative Mick Mulvaney (R-SC) to serve as Office of Management and Budget Director:
“Mick Mulvaney will be a fiscally minded director for the Office of Management and Budget. As a member of the House Budget Committee, I’m pleased the Senate confirmed him and the Congress can continue working on a federal budget framework without delay. I look forward to working with him to rein in our national debt, bring back honest budgeting without gimmicks, as well as promote a pro-growth agenda to restrain spending and fix the economy."
